The complete text of the fair credit reporting act.Very dry dusty text that will probably make your eyes cross reading it. This will come in handy for your disputes.

This post hopefully will graduate to sticky level. :D


The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, is designed to promote accuracy and ensure the privacy of the information used in consumer reports. Recent amendments to the Act expand your rights and place additional requirements on CRAs. Businesses that supply information about you to CRAs and those that use consumer reports also have new responsibilities under the law. :D

What can we do in this condition?

Because in this time i am fully effort to getting out from my previous debt & i have got 50% success to do that. Debt has been disturbed my life so i am scaring by debt. And also rebuilding my credit score which is badly damaged in my paste.

In this whole situation if as you say credit history damaged by unavoidable reason then what option will be open for me to face this.
