I live in Florida
I now have the money to pay off the original amounts owed on accounts #1-4. I have over paid on #5 and they still suggest I owe them $53.63 . Companies #1-4 appear to charge illegal fees for my state. Does that make the contract void? I am working on closing the checking account now. I already have another account open with my current bank and with a credit union. I am highly disturbed that my bank moved money from one checking account to the one in the negative to balance it out. (Due to ACH's and NSF fees) It's put me out over $700.00! My bank suggested resolving the issue with these companies directly before they would dispute the charges and wouldnt close my account until it is in the positive again. That bank is Bank of America. I don't mind paying back the money but I have been charged enough fees with these ridiculous ACH's . Sometimes more than once in a day from the same company in the same amount. Sometimes from the same company using the same name or a different name in different amounts on the same day.
Any advise in this matter is highly appreciated!

what does it mean
300 was the amount of money and 9/2X/7 is the approximate date of the loan. I didnt want to give an exact date. Basically, it happened somewhere between September 20 2007 to September 29 2007. Sorry for the confusion.

I do know that in Florida, the pdl has to be licensed in Florida. Some of your pdls most likely will not be licensed in your state. So have you had some of these since September and haven't paid anything on? Am I understanding this correctly? If so, how did you go a month without them debiting your account? Did you close it right after getting the pdls?

My account was in the negative at the time. This caused a chain reaction that put it further in the negative. I now have the money to pay them all off but don't feel as if it is legal to pay what they may be asking.
How would I find out if the companies are licensed to do business in Florida?
If they aren't, does that make the contract void?

Now, don't hold me accountable for all of this. This is based upon the names provided. If they are operating under a different name, they may be licensed under "that" name. If someone comes along and sees a blatent error on my part, they will correct me. All I did was go to the licensee database for Florida and everyone comes up in alphabetical order.
