Hi
Like everyone else I got in a bind and now Im really in one.

State - Florida
paydayloans were both through the internet.

Geneva Roth borrowed $250 paid $420
Loan Shop - borrowed $250 paid $420

I have no idea how to get in touch with them. I have almost paid them double what I borrowed. How do I get rid of them or pay them off or something. Trying to get backon my feet and this is killing me every payday. Please help!

Both of your loans seem to be paid in full. You will have to close your checking account if you can to prevent these people from taking any more money from you. Please read the sticky regarding closing your account . It is on the top of the pay day forum page. We will then walk you thru the process.

No Never contact a company and tell them you are closing your account. They will immediately go in and take everything.Close your account FIRST. They will harrass you. You wil send them a cease and desist letter, telling them only to contact you via e mail or usps.First things first, get your account in order

Thank you for the contact info. I have read the sticky and the bank problem I am working on. I have contacted my job to stop DD and I am going to have my husband do the same so we can open up a new account. I am also contacting the places I pay bills through DD to send paper bills till it gets straighten out. We are in the negative again so I cant close yet. Now what do I do? Do I contact the companies? I cant afford them to call my job and harrass me because I have not been there long and dont want to lose it.

No No No. Do not call the companies. Go to your bank and speak to the manager,. Request that a hard block be put on your account so no debits can go thru. This is also good so you will not get any more nsf charges. Trust me, once the companies findout they can no longer get your money they will contact you.

When they start calling you want to try not to talk to them. You want to try to communicate with them in writing only. Unfortunately you can not keep them from calling you at work. I just asked all calls be put through directly to me and then I would tell the caller I was on extended vacationand then respond to them via e-mail.

Crzyldy35,
Hank in there, I had PDL's with the same two companies. I closed my account at bankatlantic and sent them revocation letters and files compliants with the Fl AG's office at myfloridalegal.com
and filed compliant with the BBB in KS and Del on both.In your letter to them to revoke the ACH also let them know you will only have contact with them via email or usps, that why if they call you at work you have it in writting that you ask them to "only" contact you via email and USPS.

In my case I had not repaid any fees or principle and
so I made settlement offers to them both. But in your case you have overpaid both these loan and I would request a refund.
They will keep telling you no but stick to your guns and keep sending them the demand for refund and PIF(paid in full) on these accounts.
David
