i need to send out a few follow-up letters to Experian since I have disputed items on m credit report. It has been almost one and a half months and still no answer or reply from them as of yet. I sent the letters certified so I have proof of the date they all arrived there in Allen TX. I know that they should have responded by now according to the FTC and federal requirements.
I wanted to check and see if this letter I have pieced together from various templates found on the web is has complete and accurate information before I send it off Certified Mail again. Please let me know if I forgot somethign or should take anything out. I dont want to jeopardize messing anything up since my diputes are valid claims that should be taken off my report.
Also, if it is on TransUnion or EquiFax reports too, do i have to contact them myself to have the same things removed when Experian finally admits the information I'm disputing is inaccurate on my Experian credit report?
Here's the master follow-up letter I have constructed regarding following-up on already disputed items.
Thanks for any input any of you are willing to give me. Reply and let me know please dears!
Daniel

Daniel,

You have dealt the matter professionally. They should respond any of the below-

  • Your request rejected (with valid reason)
  • Investigation has started
  • Result of investigation with a copy of your report

Now if you do not receive any of these even after sending the follow up letter, add a statement to your credit report. You can mention the entries that you disputed and also point out that credit bureau was unable to fix your confusion.

This way you can clarify the problem to your future financers. Please keep informing us what is going on. Happy holidays :)

I done a job interview with a company two and a half months ago. They said they are looking for someone but not to start before the new year. After 3 days they called me to say that everything was great at the interview but they have to wait for January and they will keep me in touch.
After that I didn't hear anything from them.
After the interview I sent a thank you note and last week I sent a follow up letter and I didn't hear anything from them.
Do I have to follow up again?
Please let me know what do you think about this.

I 'Disputed' a few things, with the CB's, also. However......I did it VIA the Internet. I BELIEVE they have 30 days to respond to my 'Disputes' ( if I'm incorrect about this, PLEASE..someone let me know).
