By the time I realized they were on, they were 3/4 over so I went to bed. I heard from others that they were awesome, too.

I do not know how I got by without a DVR. Everything I watch is on after I am asleep, when I am at work or when I am watching something else.

I know what you mean! I never watch live tv anymore!!!! I record everything on the dvr. Then I watch shows I have recorded while something else is being recorded. It's so nice to be able to skip commercials, too!

It was great! I loved Amy Winehouse. Especially when she won. That is real gratitude and appreciation. Not these fake stars that think it's just another award to put on their shelf. She's such an awesome performer, too. And, when Andrea Bochelli sang with Josh Grobin, I'm probably spelling that wrong, it was an awesome duet. I still like that song the best with Celine Dion. Bochelli's Sogno album is still one of my faves. Great one to put on for Valentine's dinner.

Yeah! The Rhapsody in Blue was amazing! It was a huge relief to see some culture being performed. Not just a bunch of noise. I sound old, but I stopped buying any new music after about 1995. Except for the occasional band that really impressed me, like The Killers, or System of a Down. I tend to stick to my old stand by's..80's music. Can't go wrong with the Cure and the Smiths!

The Foo Fighters is one that I might go and buy the cd. I'm just sick of all of those R&B people sounding the same. That warbling singing where all they do is sing up and down the scale gets on my nerves. Except Alicia Keyes. She's really talented.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE the 80's!!!!! There is nothing like 80's music. I'm like you swedish, I quit buying new music in the 90's, except for country. The Cure is one of my favorites!!!!! So is Depeche Mode.

It was fantastic this year...all the new and old...and all I can say is: TINA TURNER. I would love to look that great at 68!!!!
As to Winehouse, it's interesting how the media spin the event.
As to Winehouse, it's interesting how the media spin the event. I read yesterday that she didn't appear in person because she "didn't have time" to get a visa. In actual fact, she was denied a U.S. visa in London.
