Ads from PDLs

Unfortunately, there is no way to stop the ads. It was explained some time ago why. I just can't remember the reason why. It is unfortunate that there is no way to stop the ads.

How about a disclaimer saying that we do not support any of the comanies posting adsense on this site somewhere at the top of each page

That would be something I would support. I think it's part of the terms of service from Google Adsense that they have to accept all ads or something like that. Anyway, it would be up to Vikas.

Hi frogpatch

Those who have been in this community since quite some time know that we all have stood against the payday loans and the lenders operating in different states. That's why we have this open forum for everyone to post their problems dealing with such lenders.

Google adsense are automated. Companies pay to the google for their ads and the software looks out for the keywords in the internet where the products can be advertised. Since we all use the term "payday loans" very frequently in the conversations, the software generates the ads automatically, not knowing that we stand against it.

We will see if a prominent disclaimer can be placed in the website for everyone's clear understanding.

Great idea, Frogpatch and thanks, Mike. It is disconcerting when you first come to the forums and see this, so a disclaimer would be a good thing to have.
