Yes, my dear friends it's true. You have been duped, the wool pulled over your eyes, been sold ice in the frigid temperatures in the Artic. I am a spy! *evil laughter* I come here each day with a pen and pad and write down all sorts of useful information to take back to my employer to we can come up with new vile ways into talking to debtors. Don't feel too put out I am very good at what I do.

I thought you would like to know how we use the information on this site. I know, very generous of me but I do have a kind side when I am not plotting to take over the world! Just the other day I can remeber screaming at the top of my lungs the rules of the fdcpa to a poor woman who was just trying to pay her bill. I screamed at her that I would never call her more than a couple of times a week and always durring the hours od 8am - 8pm! (I don't work past 8). I told her that her account would be reported paid in full. I remeber that clearly because I think at that point in my ranting I lost my voice. Then there was this gentleman who wasn't sure if he had made the charges on the card or his son and at that point I distinctly remeber my face become an unbecoming shade of red as I screamed at the top of my lung that he needs to write the creditor for itemized statements.

It's been diffictuly for me as I truely do enjoy your company. Please help be come up with more evil ways to get debtors to become aware of their rights and responsibilities.


FYI, I know you are a good person by heart and your collections will be always fair. You have a soft side because of which when you reach to the extreme point when dealing with someone who is not able to pay his bills, you will apply some other ways, but it won't be something against the laws. I read the other day when a guest came here and started to soil our mind against you. You have been always good to this community and people who know you well will not have any doubts.

Mike you are simply the best. I normaly do my best not to reply or post to an anon person if I feel their intent is to harass or hurt someone but for some reason I couldn't clear my mind of it this weekend. So! I thought I would make fun of it instead and I feel a lot better.

The other post where that "person" tried to slam you got my blood boiling!

We haven't had to deal with that lately- the forums have calmed down and everyone is trying to help each other.

I,for one, appreciate you being here and giving us info. We have had other collectors, or former collectors here-JediMistress Ari- who helped me alot, and we became friends.

Hang in there- I may want you to "spy" on someone for me :lol: Karen

I have nipped at this guest a few times. I support FYI fully and know she is a good collector who follows the rules of collections.She is also a fellow moderator who I would support just for that reason.This guest is just trying to stir up trouble here and everyone knows this board's new policy of zero tolerance on this. If any moderator,member,admin,or even guest sees this type of post,please bring it to our attention so we can keep this web site clean and informative.

Someone told me years ago that I would make a good private investigator, because I knew how to get info others couldn't!

For example, this is sorta private, but you don't know where I live so wth- Years ago when my first husband and I seperated, I had a feeling something was going on. I called one of his friends late one night and told him I knew everything, and asked him how long he had known-really didn't know squat! He sang like a canary. I then called the HR dept where she worked, said she was applying for a job-I know this was probably illegal- and who was her boss, etc..Turns out it was my ex!!

I can go on and on, but won't :lol:

So I think I should be a spy too, and since I am old- I can be the unassuming spy!!..KAren

Guys, FYI was being "beat down" by a stupid "guest" one day. Cajun came back full force. I don't know how FYI kept quiet during it. I think I would have had to post back personally. But that just goes to show that FYI has class and isn't "about" all that kind of crap. FYI has given me advice - good advice - before. So, sorry, FYI. You've got us on your "bad guy" side! :wink:

9 times outta 10 the best way to handle these trolls is just as FYI did! If u ignore them they ususally go away, as hard as that may be sometimes!
Cannr, FYI has also been a doll to me and given me loads of advice that i appreciate tremendously!
We're all spys with her!
