I told my mother in law about my sister in law's kids (who has been living with us since August)and the problems we have been having, trouble with the kids school, fighting with each other all the time. Lost of emotional trama and stress between the kids(I have 4 she has 3). We were dipping into our over draft protection inbetween every pay period. I just really was venting. My mother in law has been more of a mom to me than my real mom since I was 15 (not my real mom's fault but that's another story).

Well they are moving out this weekend now, my mother in law is going to help rent them a place to stay. I feel happy and sad at the same time.

I understand your feelings, FYI - having a large blended family all in the house together is bound to create additional joy at times...but also additional stress and problems, with a little strife thrown in for good measure.

My daughter & her boyfriend moved in with me just about a month ago, so now I have 5 people in a very small 2 bedroom house. We just went and looked at a new house to rent today, and will be moving in January.

I'm not sure how I'd feel if they moved out now - even though it's only been a month, it kind of feels good to have everyone at home.

I understand that also FYI! When my sis in law and her family lived with us, what i found the hardest thing was the kids! As parents we all raise our kids differently and it's hard when ur kids are "expected" to do certain things yet these other kids don't do a thing! And ur kids have certain rules that don't apply to these others! They don't understand how this is fair! It was definately hard!
ANd of course, financially is a strain also!
Well hopefully, in ur situation they will live close enough that u can still see them and spend time with them!
Enjoy ur family and home again FYI!
