The Online Chat Room

Hi FYI, first of all Happy Birthday!! I really miss chating with all of you but everytime I log in there's noone there. I wonder where everyone went.

I also check the chat room and there's never anyone in it! But the few times i have been in there lately seems someone comes in looking for help! I was thinking last time, i wonder if it would be a good idea to have someone in there if for nothing else but to help new members learn to navigate the forum and post their problems in hopes of solutions.

I thought we did that at one time? I know that Mike or another admin would hang out there from time to time...

I used to be in there all day long......I had so much fun chatting with everyone. However, my work responsibilities required me to give up my chat room habit. :( I do check when I get on in the evening to see if anyone is there but it is always empty.

I agree whenever when I log in there, usually no one is there, but if you stay connected to it people usually do stop by and want to ask a question or two :lol: . I try to assist them as best that I can or try to tell them to post a thread about there question and someone will answer it.

I know that Mike does stop in and monitor it, I think that everyone is busy in their lives, especially with the holidays fast approaching (YUK).

Maybe when we come on we should just open chat and then leave it open while we post...can you do that?? Then if someone comes in..we would already be there...kind of like leaving your instant messenger window open while on line....is that possible???

That sounds like a good idea to me.
