As per the state laws, every state has a legal timeframe within which the debt needs to be paid or else it will result legal actions. When making a payment by phone a customer should not have to pay a service fee of any amount in addition to the minimum payment due if the the customer does not require assistance by a customer service representative. The automated system allows the cutomer to do all the work by providing the account information, so what is the purpose for the fee of $10 without assitance and $15 with assitance? I am only one, maybe two payments away from having a zero balance so the intent of my complaint is to hopefully change things for the better for other customers. I truly appreciate the fact that you approved my loan when I needed it the most, but I have no intentions of applying for any future loans and neither will I recommend it to anyone else. Thank you.

My Credit Union sent a payoff check to GE and my loan was paid off with GE Money Bank on 11/17/2008. I signed a payoff letter instructing GE to send the released title to the Credit Union. As of today 2/6/09 neither I or the Credit Union do not have my released lien title. Today, I contacted GE and they said they will be sending out my title in 7-10 business days. This is unbelievable, almost 3 months later and still no title and they are not following my request to send it to my Credit Union. The other issue I have is their phone staff could or would not forward me to a supervisor to discuss this issue. This is the worst customer service I have ever received!

I took a loa in feb 2007 and I never received a monthly statement. I forgot about the loan until last week. I should have gotten a statement when one year had passed but I didnot. Last week I got a statement saying I owed the original amount plus $800.00 in interest.
I will gladly pay the original amont plus the first years interest. I should have been notified at the end of first year but G E Money Bank did not send statement.

What a SCAM!!!!! This dentist I went to was pushing this credit card on new "pattsies", & boy did I get hustled! First, the dental office charges the credit card the full amount of the procedure I had done before they billed my insurance, whats up with that??!! So whatever, I'm making my monthly payments on this credit card, when all of a sudden, I get smacked with like a $500 dollar service charge (on top of the $1,000 dollar bill for the dental work) & a $30 a month interest charge on the new $1,500 bill I now have. WTF!!!!! There's no number to call on the billing statement, you darn near have to do college level research to find the number to GE Money Bank (Red Flag). I finally get the number, call and politely explain my situation...,the customer service rep, "Amanda" was rude, un-professional and tried to talk over me the whole time. End result, pounding with no lubrication! Buyer beware, this company's credit card represents many different businesses. If you don't want to be walking around with a sore backside, in my opinion, run away if someone offers you a "GE Money, CareCredit" credit card!

In April of 2009 I contacted the customer service department to inquire about a program to assist with my monthly payment. I was told that such a program did exsist however i had to be current on my payment before I could enroll in the program. I sent the payment in. I call back after the payment was posted. This time I was told that I had to wait until the billing re-cycle and pay another payment. Once the conversation turned bad, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The person who identified her self told me that no such programs exsisted. She made it impossible to file a compliant and refused to give me the names of the customer service rep or her supervisor

I am now in receipt of your bill which denotes a new address that I am to pay my Mervyns bill to. I notice on this bill that you are charging me a late fee of $29.00 and noting that my bill is due as of 6-10-2009. The late fee is for my May payment you note on you bill recieved as of 5-13-09, I've always paid Mervyn's on this date and my bill was current with no late fees. I am requesting that ALL late fees of $29.00 be reversed and I have made the change to my auto pay that this bill will be paid on the 2nd of every month until the bill is paid in full.

Sincerely,

Wanda

I am the sort of guy who loves to seek unprecedented things. Right now I'm making my personalized solar panels. I'm doing it all by myself without the assistance of my men. I'm utilizing the internet as the only way to acheive that. I encountered a very awesome site that explains how to make solar panels and so on. The site explains all the steps needed for solar panel construction.I'm not sure about how correct the info given there is. If some experts over here who have xp with these works can have a see and give your feedback in the thread it would be great and I would highly treasure it, cause I truly take an interest in solar panel construction.Tnx for reading this. U guys are great.

Believe me, you don't want to call India. GE Money made my Bucket list for when I retire. They have made a very simple money transaction for a lawn mower from Cub Cadet into a n unbelievable circle jerk. When I retire I will apply for the maximum amount I can possibly get from them and it's on down the road laughing all the way with their money. They really need to stop this B.S. practice.

good luck. Have been fighting for two months. All three credit reporting
agencies have different infomation about my account. I paid this account off three years ago. One says i filed bankruptcy on them. Another one say's it was a write off, and the third say's it was a charge off.

I'm in the process of writing to mr. Green a letter, and well be sending it
certified mail. I'm not real sure this is a good address. I called g.e.m.b.
And had to fight to get it from an employee. Please let me know how you
made out.

I bought/financed a Select Comfort bed in December and to date (2/14) haven't received a bill or any paperwork. I've called the Customer Service numbers and end up talking to someone in India. Three times now I've called and 3 times I've had to tell them to correct my address, the idiots can't understand that I haven't received anything because they're sending it to the wrong address. They just keep saying it was sent on the 6th and I should receive it by the end of the week. Ahhh, another great example of why this country is going down the tubes, we keep taking jobs from Americans, giving them to foreign counties and we, the customers, keep getting the shaft from idiots thousands of miles away. Does anyone out there have a name, number, address to someone here in the US for GE Money Bank. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks

I have a 12-months promotioal contract with HHGREGG and was NYVER told that I had
to make monthly payment of $44. Several days ago, I sent $44 to GEMoney. Now, I
have in my hands a HHGREGG VISA debit $30 rebate card for a purchase I made in
the HHREGG store in Spring Hill, Florida. During the next few days I want to mail to
GE Money in Orlando, Florida a envelope containing (1) a check for $14 and (b) your
firm's VISA rebate card of $30.
My major question to you: How do I send the card? Is it to be sent uncut? Please
reply to me via my E-mail site, which is:

people, be careful when signing any contract with G.E. money bank. I like the person above have written proof via records that I also have been paying my bill early but was told that since payment was received late after due date when mailed through post office, its lateand not their problem. i have no problem paying late fee if in fact i am late but to charge me when i was told about a alleged late fee incurred now according to them in December 2009 through 2 phone calls and now late fee finally showed up on April's bill, 5 months later. As I explained to the rep. if i'm late then i'm late but being I am in the law enforcement field and know the law I will and am disputing this alleged late fee which has now increased my A.P.R. by 20 percent and increased monthly bill.

Contacted by GE Money Bank..informed I had a past due bill described as a 'payday loan' supposedly received in June of 2001. Never took out a payday loan-ever! Asked who the originator of the bill was..told "that's confidential" When I informed the caller that I needed to investigate this claim, I was told: "All I need to know-are you going to pay or not?" I informed the caller (who wouldn't identify himself) that I wasn't about to pay as it wasn't mine and it was long past the Statute of Limitations. He said "no it isn't" and hung up. On my callback he refused any discussion-only wanted a committment from me to pay. He didn't get it. How do they get away with such behavior?
