Hello everyone,

I know the last thing most of you need is more debt. BUT ***** really helped me and that is why I feel like I need to pass the info along to you guys.

First my story~ I got into PDL's really deep. None of them ever defaulted because I kept getting new ones to cover the fees on the old ones. I think when I finally paid all of them off, I counted about 12 different companies. :( I bank with Wells Fargo and even though there were times when I didn't have enough in my account to pay all the renewal fees on the PDL's my account paid them and I had many many NSF fees. needless to say I was very overwhelmed and didn't know what I was going to do.

It is best to join a group, have the group leader "vet" you and go from there. become active on the message boards, and get to know the lenders.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I don't want to cause anyone more debt, but I know without ********, I would still be stuck in the PDL cycle or worse.

Like I said before though, It may not work for all, but for some it may.

Have a great day!

That is great it worked for you.But I know from my own experience that borrowing and borrowing to pay off debt is what got me here.I though before when I came to this forum I would just borrow money to pay some of these jerks off. But that God,I found this forum,it saved my sanit.Things are super tight, would like to get more groceries, prescriptions, etc.,but one by one I am getting some smaller debts paid off and trying to concentrate on the others.I spent so many years robbing Peter to pay Paul,it's exhausting. It's just my opinion, but getting loans to pay off others will keep you in a financial prison.I know there are times,I have done it too, that I had to use pdls, credit cards, just to survive, but today I just want to be debt free.Good luck to you...Karen

I too used to just get one loan to cover another. Everything is still really tight money wise, much like bossy4455 posted above, It all comes down to self-control I think. I mean you have to have the courage to do what is best for you and your family. Sometimes that means giving up things you want. I can see now that getting loans was not the answer, but a crutch to postpone the inevitable truth.
