Help with medical bills?

Are these current medical bills for something that is an ongoing issue? Do you have medical coverage? Perhaps you can get these bills drastically reduced by speaking with the patient accounts department. First off, you need to see the patient consent form to see if you're even legally responsible for the debt. YOUR signature needs to be the one on the form. If your signature is NOT on the form, dispute this, and get it removed from your credit file. If your signature is on the form, ask patient accounts for a financial/charitable application. Explain to them that you cannot afford the balance. Most medical facilities are more than willing to work with you.
