You may not like the sound of this but I would start by contacting a therapist, they won't necessarily say you need medications, but could possibly start a behavior therapy plan and work on the underlying issues to why you are a shopaholic. It is an addiction like a drug. Have you tried not allowing yourself to go into a store by yourself, take a friend, etc.....make a list and have the friend make you stick to it. That may be a start and call around to different therapist, they are a good resource in finding support groups for all types of disorders/addictions.

Steelers is right, and another point is, being that your therapist will most likely have information regarding group sessions for people with similar issues, if not specifically shopaholics anonymous. However, if you google shopaholics anonymous you may find a helpful directory there.
