I want to know if I can legally request for the return of the payment made to Richard A. Brennan as part of debt consolidation - paying to the creditors. I have to pay one creditor by October 31st or my credit rating will go down.

Jeffrey, I am so sorry to say that you may not have understood the program very clearly before signing with the debt settlement company. I don't know if the term you used "debt consolidation" was done by mistake or you misunderstood the program.

Richard A. Brennan does debt settlement programs, not consolidation programs. FYI, be very specific about the program you sign for with any company. If you have signed for 'debt settlement' program and thereby expect that your accounts will remain current and your creditors will be paid in time, it will never happen. It's a complete wrong understanding by you and disputes will never get a solution. It's sad but that's the truth!

OK, you want to request return of payment from the company. You can do it but I am not sure whether they will keep it. Talk to them
