Has anyone heard of Access Financial Modifications out of Florida. Are they legitimate?

I AGREE. THEY CONTACTED ME TO TRY AND WORK THROUGH A LOAN MODIFICATION... THEIR EMAILS LISTED IN THE CONTRACT SEND WAS A YAHOO ACCOUNT. THEY WANTED $1000 WITHIN 2 DAYS AND ANOTHER $1000 PAID 14 DAYS LATER. PROMISING I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY MY MORTGAGE FOR 6 MONTHS AND THAT THE LOAN WOULD BE MODIFIED WITHIN 2 DAYS! I SPOKE WITH SEVERAL ATTORNEYS AND PARALEGALS SINCE THEN AND NO MONEY CAN BE PAID UP FRONT, UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY ARE RETAINING LEGAL SERVICES, AND NOT ONE OF THE ATTORNEYS I SPOKE WITH SAID IT WOULD TAKE LESS THAN 30-60 DAYS MINIMUM TO COMPLETE THE MODIFICATION. THEY SEEM FISHY AND TOO PUSHY, IN ADDITION CLAIM THEY ARE WORKING WITH OBAMA'S HOPEFORHOMEBUILDERS PROGRAM.

I got my loan modified through Express Home Solutions. My loan was at 7.375% with Countrywide. I couldn't even get them on the phone, but deleted - ND got my rate down to 3.50% for 3 years and I am so happy that I get to stay in my home!!!!!

Kudos to all at deleted - ND for a job well done!

access loan modification is not legitimate. they got $799.00 from me and didn't do anything. i have learned a valuable lesson. but, an ill gotten game want prosper. the law should make these fraudulent companies pay the money back or a $5,000 fine.

I was just contacted by this company too. When will I learn . they took $1199.00 from me to modify my loan and now I can't get them on the phone, and they don't answer my e-mails. I had just been taken for $3100.00 by a New Beginnings Loan Modification in California who had promised to modify my loan. I should have known better, but these companies are sooo very good at what they do best and that is to take your money. You are right they should have to pay a very big fine for stealing money from people who are already down on their luck.

Access Financial Modifications took us for $995.00 in May 2009. I can't believe that a man of my age would let someone scam them as I did. Does anyone know a way to legally make them pay everyone back what they scammed from us? If so, then please reply on this site. God have mercy on these people. I'm sure that He has it recorded in The Book of Life.

If you've been scammed by a loan mod company, try small claims court or a local attorney... there are many laws on the books protecting people from the newest breed of scammers.

Yes we were taken too but at least they sent the paperwork to our mortgage company and it has taken 6 months for them to get the paper work. Right now we are behind in payments 9,000 + dollars. Where was this when i was actually looking to hire them?

Apparently, I have also been taken by Access Financial Modifications out of Pembroke Pines, Florida. Victor Lawrence or so he called himself was very helpful and even gave me his cell phone number. They were working with Countrywide, and I even got a letter from Countrywide now Bank of America saying that they were giving my paperwork to AFM. I really had my hopes up that my home would be saved. But now, everytime I call them I get a busy signal. When I do get them, they tell me they know who was helping me and to hold on, then I am switched to a voice mail. I have sent countless emails, and now I only get the busy signal everytime I call. They told me not to communicate with the mortgage company and to let them know if they contact me because I am in the modification program. Two weeks ago, AFM told me that Countrywide had sent all of the modification packages to Bank of America so it would take more time. I have been unable to reach anybody, have an e-mail answered and they took me for $960 dollars. They seemed to actually be doing something at first, but my court date is October 15, 2009, and I have no paperwork to help me! I guess I have lost my home.
