hello, everyone, well, I'm still trying to get my login issues worked out but in the meantime, I have a question.

Can you revoke the ACH authorizations given to pdl's?

My bank is telling me that they can't do anything about it because we authorized them, and that we needed to go through the loan company itself to cancel it.

I figure you should be able to revoke or take back the authorization if you can give one.

Basically, the only way the bank said they could do something is if they are unauthorized--then they can reverse those and file back on them.

Any advice, tips, etc...?

by the way, my user id is rlt, but will probably show guest.

Yes you can revoke them. My bank allowed me to do this. You also need to revoke the authorization with the companies. But first, are these storefronts? I would be careful if they are becaues there are a few states that will allow criminal prosecution if the check is cancelled or the account is closed. What state are you in? If these are internet e-mail,mail, and fax your revocation letters, but that isn't a guarantee they will listen, even though by federal law they need to so it is wise to add this federal law to your letter. If possible you may want to just close that account and get a new one, that is what many here have had to do.
