It will be clearly stated on your loan contract.

It should not cost you anything up front to get a loan. If someone or some company is asking you for money up front (other than a mortgage) run fast....it is a scam. There are stories all over the internet of people you pay upfront for processing and insurance and then never see a loan.

most banks have started charging a small fee upfront for a Fannie Mae loan it is usually around $400-$650 all of that is credited at closing and it does cover the appraisal. FHA loans most banks are asking is for the appraisal fee up front. this is only for refinances. if you are buying a home then the only fee that is asked up front is the appraisal and that is up to the loan officer to get that. if it is any other loan i would do what soaplady said and run fast.

I would ask for a good faith estimate if it is a mortgage loan. You may have more questions after that so please feel free to post.

gosh, personal loans vary so much. It depends on number of things. I can tell you to expect a high rate because there is nothing to secure the loan. The rate will depend alot on your credit. And, you have to have really good credit to get the loan. I guess you will have to look at the trade off. Is it worth getting the loan.

Wow, getting a payday loan is probably the worst mistake you can make. I'm curious though, what could make you need $500 so badly that you will sell your soul for it? You'd be better off panhandling!

Folks, it gets worse! At the bottom of the page of the website just noted above, MGA, it says: "Good information to read" and has a few links. NOTE the last one, which hyperlink has been removed. 500FastCash?! PLEASE do a Google search for 500FastCash. AND, to the left it says "Our Partners" and the first is United Cash Loans!! PLEASE do a Google search on that one, too.
