Question
Date: Tue, 08/15/2006 - 17:25
Information
Age: 21 in November of this year.
Amount needed: $25,000 personal loan with a 72 month payment plan, but will be paid off in 36 to 40 months. (Proof) - I know you don't offer that.
Loan Bill: Around $400-$500 per month
Debt to income \ monthly bills: Exactly $0 per month. No debt, no rent or bills, no monthly payments. I don't even pay for gas, food, or any insurance payments. 110 percent capable of paying off the $25,000 loan in about 36 months.
Proof: Check my credit report + will provide any and everything else you need from me as proof and verification.
Income: $1200 per month
Proof: My aunt is a manager at Red Oak and my father is the plant manager of AFG. I can work at either place if necessary. (As you are about to read, I can't work until I get the loan, but I do have proof I can get a job easily at multiple places). You can contact either place of business and ask to speak to a manager to verify it. This will serve as proof of income and proof of employment since it is impossible for me to get a job without this loan.
Thats $1200+ Income, a $400-$500 loan payment, and $0 in other monthly payments including food, gas, insurance, clothes, movies, ect. My $0 in monthly payments will stay this way for the next 36 months.
Work Experience: Over 3 years with the same company. I worked with the same company in 3 different cities, 3 different stores, 3 different departments. I went from $5.50 an hour to $8.25 an hour before I was 18 years old. Worked with the company from age 14 to almost .
+ I worked at Red Oak Logistics here in FL. (My aunt is in management there)
Proof: Store locations & managers & contact info for you to check + W2 forms and anything else you want. Excellent references.
Credit: I call it "Fresh" or "Clean" credit. I haven't had the chance to establish any credit. I don't have any debt, late payments, errors or mistakes, or anything else on my credit though, so it can't be labeled as "Bad credit"
Proof: Credit Check
Reason for loan: Very serious & urgent personal reasons
Proof: Read the letter on the next page after you read this page.
My Extra Income: So what am I going to do with the extra $500-$700 per month? I'm going to make $700-$800 payments on the loan so I can pay it off in about 36 months, and leave the rest in savings each month. In 36 months I'll have the loan basically paid off, plus have saved almost $10,000 saved. (Not having any bills or monthly payments allows me to pay it off fast & save instead of spending on things like rent, bills, credit cards, insurance, cell, car, gas, food, ect.)
Proof: The longer it takes to pay the loan off, the longer it takes for me to move out and move on. The quicker I pay it off, the better it looks on my credit. The better it looks on my credit, the better future I have.
Payment:
$1000+ per month.
$600 for 36 months = $21,000 paid on the loan
+ plus +
$300 for 36 months = $10,000 that I'll have saved in my bank
+ plus +
$100 per month for 36 months = $3600. Lets say I spend $100 each month on miscellaneous things like movies, clothes, lunch, ect.
At $1200-$1400 per month (Strong possibility) it would be:
$850 for 36 months = $30,000 paid on the loan.
+ plus +
$400 for 36 months = $15,000 that I'll have saved in my bank.
Collateral: My 0 percent debt to income, no car payment, no car insurance payment, no food costs, no gas costs, no rent, no cell phone bill, no credit card bills, my previous work experience, this letter, making more than enough money to pay the loan off early, proof of two family members in management positions and capable of giving me a full time job, my proof of my ability to work, and my word is the only collateral I can offer. (I know, just listen)
I've just fully 110 percent proven without a doubt that I can & will pay off my loan in about 36 months. As you can see now and will see even more as you read, there is no "if", "and", or "but" about my ability to pay the loan off EARLY. I need this money more than anyone who has ever applied for a loan at this bank and when you read the next page you will see just how serious I am. As you will read in my letter, my life depends on this loan. I'm reaching out to my bank and asking that they help me save my life and the requirements shouldn't be a problem because I've proven and have proof of everything I've said. Plus, I don't have bad credit, debts, late payments, high debt to income ratio, or anything else that a lot of people have...and they still get approved w/ collateral, so I'm hoping what I offer and what I can provide proof of will be enough to serve as collateral. Please take your time reading my letter.
- the letter -
This is my first attempt at ever trying to get any type of loan with my bank. I ask that only a manager deal with me because of the circumstances of my situation and needs. I was going to go directly to a VP of the company because of my situation, but I decided to try a manager first.
I'm in a very awful situation that is too personal, too complicated, and too embarrassing to fully explain or go into detail about. I'm asking you to do everything in your power as the manager to help me, even if it means getting permission from a VP, CEO, or other superior to authorize & process my loan. I need an exception to the normal requirements and will agree to almost ANYTHING in the contract and pay ANY reasonable interest rate (I can afford it, with proof). This is a life or deaath situation. I have no other options or choices left so this is my last hope.
I know the requirements but I'm very worthy of an exception and my life depends on it. Anyone who reads this will clearly see that it is 100 percent safe and secure to loan me money as I can provide proof of every word. I'll even go as far as to say it is a better idea to loan me money than to some of the people who already have bad credit that you still give loans to anyway, even though they had a record of missed payments, bad credit, poor money management skills, ect. and you will agree when you see my situation. I need to make this happen as fast as possible.
The Good
- I have NO DEBT to my name and won't have any for the next 36 months with proof (Only cost in my life will be the loan payment for the next 36 months)
- I don't have bad credit, late payments, none of that.
- I live at home rent free with both of my original birth parents in a nice suburb in a $160,000 something dollar house with a 7 year old sister and a brown dog named Champ. Father makes $58,300 a year as a manager and my mom works part time too.
- I can stay here for as long as needed.
- I pay out exactly $0 per month every month. No car payment, no car insurance payment, no rent, no bills, no debt, no loans, no credit cards, no insurance, no cell bill, don't have to pay for food or gas, nothing. Perfect position to get a loan because I pay out $0 per month (Proof). Plenty of extra income to make almost double payments each month, plus put money in savings each month too.
- I have over 10 years experience with computers & the internet (Since before Windows came out)
- Experience with web development & basic HTML.
- Over 3 years with the same company at $8.25 per hour. (Proof & References).
- I'm a go getter and had a job at age 14 and stayed with it even through moving 3 times. I worked at 3 different store locations in 3 different cities with the same company from the minute I turned 14 years old till I was almost 18. I quit because I moved to FL and the company doesn't have any locations here, not fired (references). I went from $5.50 an hour to $8.25 an hour in less than 3 years with the company before I was 18. I worked in 3 different departments of the store. Full references to each store manager, store location & number, proof of earnings, W2's, ect.
- I need money for nothing else except the loan payment each month and saving the rest. After 36 months I'll have the loan paid off, plus about $10,000 saved in my bank to move out and build my credit up with. It will be well worth the 36 month work-and-save period. Plus it looks good on my credit that I paid a $25,000 loan off in less than 36 months with payments of $700-$800 and up each month, when the actual bill was only about $500 per month.
I'm not using the loan to benefit my credit or trying to trick you or the bank though. If I wasn't really in a life or deaath situation that was more urgent than anything else, and instead I just wanted it for other reasons, I would of went and got a job first at my aunts place of business at $1200 per month (I worked there before w/ proof), or my fathers place of business at $1200-$1400 per month (Two of my options w/ proof - you can contact the managers at work) to make sure I get the loan with no chance of not being approved. I'd of got a cell and built a record of payments, got some credit cards and built a solid 6 month record of various things paid off (Large and small purchases), got a raise and extra hours at my job, came in here in a suit, and got the loan with no problem without having to write out this long letter. I'd of walked in with a much higher credit score, better presentation, collateral, good job, lots of extra income, low debt to income ratio, better overall credit report, and maybe even a co-sign.
The Bad
- I can't get a job yet for the personal reasons I've been talking about this whole letter. I need the loan so I can get a job. The loan will allow me to overcome my personal obstacles which will allow me to work again. I can get a job almost anywhere but my personal reasons are holding me back. Plus, my aunt is a manager at a factory I could work at and already did work at for a short time, and my father is the plant manager of AFG glass and I could work under the other plant manager at his place of work (company policy), and a list of dozens of other jobs I could easily get if I could conquer the situation I'm facing. (I don't plan on working at either of those places, I'm just saying that if for some crazy reason I can't get a job anywhere else I always have two available options w/ proof.) If I can't get this loan, I can't work again. It just isn't possible. If it was possible, I would of had been on payroll already and $10,000 saved in my bank in only 10 months time because I don't have any bills or payments. See what I'm saying? Certain forces in my life right now that are very uncomfortable and too embarrassing to explain. I need to get a job and work again and the loan will allow me to do that.
- I don't have a high school diploma or GED (Can't get the GED yet either for the same personal reasons). I left school because I moved here to FL and had already been to so many schools and moved so many times that I decided I would just get my GED. I went and got a job at my aunts place of business when I moved here and that is when I started going down the hill.
Note: In all respect, If it was possible for me to get a job without the loan I would of done it already, so please don't say anything like "You have to get a GED first" or "You have to get collateral in the form of a vehicle first" or "I know you can provide proof of employment and proof of future income, but you have to be employed for 3 months" or anything like that without requesting permission to process my loan from a superior first. I know what I have to do and what you accept and don't accept. I know I don't meet some of the requirements. What I'm asking for is an exception to normal procedures and requirements and I have a very, very, very good reason for asking. That is why I ask that you request permission from a superior if you truly feel you can't make the call to approve and process my loan. I'm in such a urgent and serious situation that I was going to sit down and speak directly to a VP in his or her office and pour my heart out but that would be a waste of time if you already have the power to approve my loan. If I have to, I'll go to every single VP in the company until I can come back in here with some type of verification from a VP to process my loan. I actually wish I didn't have to get this loan to work again because then I could go get a job and have over $12,000 in my savings account in less than 12 months because I don't need money for ANYTHING else or have ANY payments. But because I have to get this loan, it will take 36 months to save that much because I'll be paying $800 per month on a $400-$500 loan bill. See what I'm saying? If I didn't urgently need this loan I wouldn't be here and would be able to save over $30,000 in 36 months because I wouldn't have the loan bill to pay. But because I have to get this loan, I can only save $10,000 to $15,000 in 36 months. Also, Please don't say "You will have to fill out an application and we'll contact you if you are approved" either because we both know I wont be approved without my information and this letter. This is my loan pre-application. When I do fill out the actual application I need you as the manager to personally make sure it gets approved by recognizing that not approving me wouldn't be a logical move for the bank if they want to make money. ANYONE can CLEARLY 100 PERCENT WITHOUT A DOUBT see that by declining me the bank would be losing money and turning their back on someone they would never turn their back on if they knew the situation and information.
The Plan
I will be using $5000 of the loan money as unemployment payments for security reasons. This prevents late payments from being put on my credit EVEN if something unexpected happens, like being out of a job for 6-8 months. I'm trying not to EVER have any late payments so that I can get a home loan with a perfect credit record and a high score in the future. Another $5000 will be used to make the first 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, however many months it takes me. (Yes, I'm aware that by doing this I'll be paying a lot more in interest. Like I said, I have no choice. I've thought it over again and again and this is what has to be done. Plus, as you can clearly see, I can easily afford it.)
$850 for 36 months = $30,000 paid on the loan
+ plus +
$300 for 36 months = $10,000 that I'll have saved in my bank
+ plus +
$100 per month for 36 months = $3600. (Occasional lunch at work and other small things.)
Like I said, I pay out EXACTLY $0 per month and it will stay that way for the next 3 years (Proof). I don't need to spend money on anything but the loan payment and saving (Proof). Again, I don't have ANY other monthly payments, not even a dollar worth. This also proves to you that I can pay the loan off easily in about 36 months and STILL have extra income to put in savings. How many 20 year olds can come in here and say that? I'm playing it smart. Not even getting a cell phone. I'm not even getting a car with the loan money and I'll have a free ride to work with someone who works at the same place (My aunt is a manager there) so that I can put more on the loan and not waste money on car insurance each month. It is much safer and better for my future this way.
About the 72 month payment plan: I'm pretty sure you don't regularly offer personal loans with 72 month payment plans but I did read something about extended payment plans on the compass bank website. I could ruin my credit if I got a 36-48 month payment plan because my payment would be a lot higher with more risk. Small chance, but I don't want to take any chance at all. if I move again, the economy crashes in 2008, I'm forced to have a car insurance payment, or if some other unexpected event occurs in the next 36 months it could ruin my attempt at building a perfect credit record if I can't make a $800-$900 payment each month. I would instead like to make $800 payments each month but feel secure and safe knowing my actual bill is only around $450.
I know it seems like I'm asking for a lot but this is a life or deaath situation.
Closing
As you can see there is no possible way I could ever have a late payment (not even one, even if I get in a horrible car accident and can't work for 8 months I still have the "unemployment payments" set aside), no way I won't pay it off within 36 months with full proof beyond a reasonable doubt, full proof of everything I said, no debt, don't have bad credit, I have fresh & clean credit, excellent previous work experience w/ proof of job and earnings, excellent references, proven my ability to think ahead, prepare for the worst, be safe and secure, manage money, plan for the future, work, proof of employment and income, and much more. The fact of the matter is this is very serious and I know someone (maybe and hopefully you) has the power to authorize and process my loan regardless of the requirements (such as a VP)...and if that person saw how worthy I am of an exception to normal procedures then they would authorize it.
I know it is in your power to help me and make sure I get the loan, even if you have to get permission from a superior. I'm sure if he or she read this and my information there would be a good chance. I've learned banks give loans to people with bad credit, people piled up with bills, people who can barely afford to make payments, and everything else as long as they have collateral. I on the other hand don't have bad credit, I don't have ANY bills or debt to my income, and I can afford to pay the loan off in a quicker amount of time than a lot of people with full proof - AND SAVE OVER $10,000 WHILE I'M AT IT - so that is kind of my 'collateral'. Full proof of everything and will provide you with anything you need to process my loan. This is a very serious and urgent situation that could mean living or dying for me. I would most certainly owe you and the bank my life and much more than a simple thank you.
If I can't get this loan I'm finished, it'll be over for me for good. I need this money more than anyone you've ever met. Please help me make this happen as fast as possible and do whatever you can.
Hi, I have read your letter and here is a bit of advice for you.
Hi, I have read your letter and here is a bit of advice for you. Do you really want to show your negatives and financial worries to the bank? Put yourself in the chair of a supervisor and you are taking an interview of someone who shows his negatives that doesn't fit to your job requirements, will you still offer him the new job. Though he (in this case, You) has explained everything very clearly, but what is the guarantee. Word of mouth full of promises and some negatives side by side.. Don't put your negatives when you are so confident with your proposals. Don't show your sentiments when making a business deal.. I will like to hear your comments on this. You have explained your side of the story but you haven't heard the decision of the bank yet. Before making any decision in practical terms, what if they turn down your proposal because it is not professional (but sentimental)

I read your post, too, and I am really confused.I'm not quite understanding why you need a loan to get a job?You said personal reasons, but I can tell you after working at a bank they will want to know the why and what of everything. There are some banks, that if you have been banking with them for a while, paid off loans, etc.,will do just signature loans. But everyone I have ever had ,had to have some type of collateral.I hope and wish you well, but I don't see how they can loan on just your promises and a letter,is that what you are saying?I may have misunderstood the whole thing. I do think telling them about your negatives isn't going to help a whole lot,you might want to do a little editing and make it a bit shorter. I'm sorry for being so negative, and maybe I misunderstood, just wanting to get the facts right-maybe you could explain a little more?Good Luck :D ...Karen

$25,000 is an awful lot of money and I'm not quite sure your reasons are valid enough to make any bank loan this to you.
Although it appears you've put ALOT of thought into this, banks are a business first and foremost.
They could care less about your "personal reasons"..they want some concrete evidence that you're going to pay this loan back, with considerable interest I might add.
A solid job history is always a plus, especially if you're employed at the time of the loan request.
As the above two posts suggest, you might want to re word this as well as scale down on the size.
Please let us know what happens..I'm very curious now!
Bossy4455 is right. They are going to want to know the details.
Bossy4455 is right. They are going to want to know the details. Truth be told I want to know the details but that is neither here nor there.
What it looks like is that you are going to use $10,000 of the loan money as an emergency fund for this loan to guarantee payments if for whatever you're out of work. The other $15,000 will be used to take care of this "personal problem", in order for you to work. All of this will just happen to give you a good credit score. Have I got it right? If so, sounds like a plan to me, but there is a lot of extra info that is not needed. PM me if you want and I can help you edit it.
Chances are you will not get approved for this loan. You're say
Chances are you will not get approved for this loan. You're saying to check your credit report, but having no credit doesn't mean your credit is perfect. Most places will require to have something established before giving a line of credit so high, as well as a job.
