I have heard that it is getting harder to get a loan because of everything going on. But from what I understand, they are looking at all things besides the credit report. It is not impossible to get a loan, but they are looking at things a little more than they did in the past.

I know that the banks and mortgage lenders have to look at length of employment, that weighs heavily as well as finances. If you are an independent contractor/file as self employed, things can be TOUGH to prove employment wise ... I know that from personal experience!
