My car got repoed last monday, they gave me 10 days to come up with 900 dollars... I have the money and now I need to know what I need to do to get it back, and what I need to bring with me to the bank in order to get my car? Do I need proof of insurance with me?

Call the bank and ask what you need to do..Is $900 what you owe on the car, or is that what will bring you current? If that's what you need to pay to be current, you will definitely need proof of insurance to get it. If $900 is all you owe, then make sure you get the title when you pick up the car!

the company i work for has a reinstatment department. so after we repo it that department tries to get people back into the vehicles, basically what i do know is they make you pay the past due amount, plus the repo fees. once the loan company releases your vehicle you have to go to the impound yard where its being stored and you have to show current registration and insurance. and they may also charge you storage fees anywhere from 15 to 50 dollars a day. i think its a crock of poo and i dont like that side of the buisness. but what can you do. also i know every state requires the finance company to hold a loan for a certain amount of days to allow you to reinstate the loan, every state is diffrent and some states only make them hold it for 3 days before they send it to auction. other states are 10 days and i know california is 20 days. good luck.
