supicious of pay day loan company

I applied for another payday loan and then
received an e-mail, then several calls that I had
been approved for $200.00. After hearing the fee of
$80.00 for payout, I declined the loan and they
called again this week and through my own stupidity,
talked me into the loan, confirming everything by
phone, including my checking acct info. I had a bad
feeling and immediately looked on the internet, where
I found numerous bad reviews regarding this company
called "Route66Funding." I called them back at the
number immediately (within 5-10 minutes of the
original confirmation of the loan, went through
several number options and finally was able to speak
to a rep. I was told numerous times to call back and
press option 2. I refused, stating it was automated and demanded I wanted to cancel the loan and decline
any future dealings with them. They finally agreed to cancel and when I asked, they assured me my account would not be deposited or debited from their company and my application was no longer active and
was cancelled. They would not provide anything in writing, which makes me more suspicous. I called two
more times asking them to confirm it was cancelled, which they said it was. What do I do if they deposit the money anyway or debit my account? They recorded the confirmation and I asked them to record the cancellation, which they say they were doing, but who knows....my bank is closed today due to the holiday...Any advice??????

I think you can cancel the loan within 24 hours. and if you did
I think you can cancel the loan within 24 hours. and if you did then they shouldn't have deposited it. The application should state the borrower can cancel the loan within 24 hours and not be charged a fee/interest charges.
