i paid cash for a honda acord . a 2005 back in nov. 9-2008 still have no title on car.i found out the vin was wrote down wrong.the dealer said they have to trac down the problem in miss. wear the once owner lived the dealer gave me the write vin number but i stele have no title. what should i do.

Generally car dealers are required to be licensed, and it is usually their responsibility to submit the proper paperwork to the secretary of state so that you get your title. They also should not sell a car unless they actually have the title in their possession (so I don't know what they have to track down in mississippi.)

Ultimately you can file a complaint with the Secretary of State against the dealer. If they conveyed interest in a vehicle that they had no rights to, the Secretary of State Police will get involved.
