hey I have a situation and need some advice please. I was having some car troubles and fell behind on my loan, eventually it got charged off on my credit and was sent to CIR. The rep I was dealing with said that my lender wanted to settle in the amount of $7500 dollars, I advised her that I would ask around or try to get a loan. Well now CIR has put a judgment on me for a way larger amount than the original debt. The rep. never called me nor sent me some summons letter. she stated that I had to inccur there lawyer fees for court and all this other stuff. This is not right at all, can they do this and what can I do to get this judgement off and back to the original charge off amount.
