I am pretty certain you have no cause of action where you live. If it were California, then maybe...but you'd still have to PROVE you are being denied due to your sexual orientation.

I don't think that's why you are being denied either. I really don't think your sexual orientation is listed on your credit report. Kudos for creativity, though.

How do they know you are gay? I can't remember one credit application that asked if I was straight or gay.

Me either...I think this is grasping at straws in an attempt not to pay a debt or to obtain money by filing a frivolous lawsuit...which our country has more than enough of already.
I mean, come on - did someone actually say to them, "I won't lend to you because you're gay"? I doubt it.

Scojoe, I really think you need to do what I suggested in the "illegal escort service" thread. Find a counseling service that can help you with your addictions to gay lines and escort services. Also, maybe they can help you come to terms with who you are. No one cares if you're gay, in fact no one knows! You will be very unhappy in life if you continue to use that as a crutch.
Sexual orientation
Well, I don't think I have ever seen anything, asking about Sexual Orientation, either. I'm not saying people/agencies are not prejudice, I'm just telling you what I have noticed. On a 'personal note', however, there are narrow-minded people that live in our country. I serve in the Army Reserves.....I was deployed to Kwaitt/Iraq in 2003, and we were there 1 year. We are 'fighting' to give ALL Americans freedom not just those who are a specific religion, etc.....EVERYONE. Be proud of who you are..that's what I say.

Pat - no one knows for sure. If the OP truly needs help, then there are a large number of counseling services they could avail themselves of. If they are just posting to be "funny", it's not - and they should be ashamed. Using a broad generalization like "I'm gay can I sue" casts dispersions on a large group of people and is unwelcome on this forum.

Don't know if it's the same person or not, but this question was on here before-it may have gotten deleted. Karen - And I agree SueBee, if this isn't real, that"s part of what is wrong with people today. Just because you don't agree with someones' lifestyle, religion, gender or race, is no excuse to be mean, and it isn't welcome here..Karen

I think someone is trying to rile us up. It's happened many times before, and I'm sure it'll happen plenty more in the future.
Sexual Orientation
I hope people din't misunderstand my last post. What DOES it matter what religion, sexual preference, etc., you are? ALL people should be treated the same...don't care who you are. That's like saying ,( example, of course) if you're not a football fan ( as I am ) I don't 'like' you. I gt ridiculed ALOT for being a female in the Military. I could care less what people say about it!!..I am PROUD to serve!! However, I don't 'flaunt' ( lack of a better word) military service in people's faces. I hope those who read this, understand the point I am trying to make.
I got you! And I agree with you. Life is way too short to judge
I got you! And I agree with you. Life is way too short to judge people just for being different.
gay
That's what makes America so interesting.....everyone is unique and everyone has something to 'bring to the table'..ya know?? If everyone was the same, it would be an awfully boring world. Don't 'you' agree?? be proud of who you are and, at the same time, respect those with different values, believes, etc.
