Elite Financial Services - Are customers happy with them?

member profile picture

I am ready to sign up with a company called Elite Financial Services in Massachusets and I looked them up with the BBB and their record is good. I am just nervous because the man I spoke to said that they we're also members of Association for settlemetn companies and I have read in other articles on this website that sometimes that means nothing?

My husband and I have excellent credit and can afford our minimum payments and every other month we pay at least 20% or more than the minimum due.

The guy I spoke with said that it doesn't matter my credit score is mostly my debt to income ratio anyway. Please help they told me I have 2 days to get my paperwork in to them or else I would not be approved.

My daughter work's for a credit union and we are waiting on an answer back for a loan.

Thanks.

I would also talk to at least 2 other companies to draw comparisons.

Or because the BBB charges almost $600/yr to be affiliated which is ridiculous. I have been in business for more than 3 years and still won't be affiliated with the BBB because I think they are a bit of a joke.

I think that if it is too good to be true, it is too good to be true.

They are one of the most reputable debt settlement companies in the industry.

I am talking to them also and they say they can do a fast settlement since I can do a lump sum...their fees are higher than others, but they seem to be more professional. I need to make a decision fast as my late fees are piling up.

I have joined Elite Financial Services back in March. I pay them $209.50 at the end of each month for my 25 month program. They have already received 3 payments. Of course I only owe $7500.00 in credit card debt. I lost my job I can't pay as much anymore. However, lately I haven't received any information on what's going on with my account with them. I sent all my letters and paper work out. Now, I am sitting and waiting, watching my minimum payments and late fees add up on my cards. I called my program adviser and was told by him that it was the end of the month and things were hectic. So I said I would contact him in the beginning of July and I will keep this site posted on there services. If they screw me I will post it in every detail. It's not a big loss to me because my girl makes good money and will back me up all the way. So I am able to see how this company works.

I have signed with Elite and have had good service. They called with one settlement from the bank within a few days, but they advised waiting for a better one. They are available whenever I call (or return the call in a reasonable time) and call and check with me occasionally to see if we've had calls or letters from the bank. I did a lot of research and they are considered one of the best in the industry. Their fees are high, and I haven't actually had any debts settled yet, but I feel confident they will live up to their contract.
