This is a message board dealing with getting out of debt. We do not offer loans and really you should not be looking for loans on the internet unless it is a well known bank or finance company.

Hi...I know you don't offer loans here. i'm asking if anyone has ever had experience in being able to get a loan in similar circumstances. Basicly i'm asking about how getting a debt consolidation loan works, and what resources may be out there to get one. I'm not interested in anything like a pay day loan. Basicly things are tight and I feel like getting out debt will help me in some ways, mainly doing a pay for delete with my credit report. I'm trying to see if anyone else out there has any experience with this, or any experience with getting out of hardship situations.

Again, i'm not asking for a loan on here nor would i trust an Internet loan so much

Getting any loan right now with this economy is very difficult if you do not have perfect credit. So if you credit is damaged, dont expect anyone to lend you money without a cosignor or property collateral.

Thanks for the advice. Supposing I had a co-signor or collateral, how do I do it...do you just approach a regular bank and ask?

You would probably want to approach a bank you have a relationship with. Or a credit union.
