Does anyone know of a good, honest company that can help us keep our home? I just don't want to be ripped off!

I guess you are asking about loan modification companies, right?

Have you tried dealing with your existing lender? You can also check if HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program) is an alternative for you.

Often you can save on the charges paid to a loan modification company by dealing with the lenders directly.
