My home is in foreclosure the mortgage is getting hight and I cant afford to pay for it because I loss my job. I cant afford to loss my home because it has sentimental value and the fruit of my labor the only thing that I can leave for my son. I keep seeking any lawyer that would help my loan modification but still I cant find most of the lawyers that I approached with seem not good enough.

In order to stop foreclosure, you need to talk to your creditor directly and inform him of your financial situation. Lenders generally agree to loan modification if you show your willingness to repay back the missed payments, because foreclosure is costly to both you and the creditor.

I was in the same situation as you. I got laid off, missed 2 payments and then my husband got laid off right after that...

the banks don't really work with us as homeowners. i tried 3 times and was denied for different reasons.

my friend and i both ended up doing a modification through a company out of Irvine, CA - Advanced Money Solutins.

Give them a try. I was modified in about 3 months and the late payments were waived. My interest rate was 8.75% and now I am fixed for 10 yrs at 5.25%

It is worth a try. they are very helpful and it is an attorney group.

you can find them at advancedmoneysolutions .com

They also do a webinar once in a while call them and find out when they are doing another one.

good luck

Yes I understand your feelings we dont want loss our home because thats our investment I was like yours before I was behind 3 payments then my son was hospitalized I was my first time to missed the payments for valid reason yes thats true the banks wont never work for the homeowners. I was advised to look for lawyer and ask his assistance then my neighbor referred me to Marc Tow so I hired him for my loan modification good news it was done good.
