Give them a try. I was modified in about 3 months and the late payments were waived. My interest rate was 8.75% and now I am fixed for 10 yrs at 5.25%

Yes I understand your feelings we dont want loss our home because thats our investment I was like yours before I was behind 3 payments then my son was hospitalized I was my first time to missed the payments for valid reason yes thats true the banks wont never work for the homeowners. I was advised to look for lawyer and ask his assistance then my neighbor referred me to Marc Tow so I hired him for my loan modification good news it was done good.

Through the expertise of Marc Tow my loan was modified to 2.75% and half of my late payments waived. I am now enjoying to pay the small interest rate.

Most lenders have a modification department and will work with you! I was very close to deleting the advertising for the company in the earlier post but decided despite the violation of rules there might be help there although I cannot speak for the other mods!
