What documents do I need to provide for mortgage application?




You need to submit copies of the following documents:

W-2 forms
Pay stubs
Bank statements
K-1 business tax returns
Gift letter
Sources of funds
Cancelled rent checks
Social Security and Disability payments

For special cases, other documents may include:

1. Home sale contract, including the purchase price.
2. A lease agreement, if you’re renting out your former home.
3. Proof of rental property income.
4. Proof of a child’s age if child support is counted as income.
5. Bankruptcy discharge papers.
6. A copy of a divorce decree might be requested in some cases.
