Can I qualify for a mortgage loan with 580 credit score?

As per my knowledge, you can. The Federal Housing Administration or FHA requires 580 points to make the minimum down payment of 3.5%.

However, it may vary by lenders.

I agree with Patricia, you can get an FHA loan having credit score of 500 to 579, with minimum down payments of 10%.

It is better to increase your credit score, if possible, to get suitable rates along with favorable terms and conditions.
