Need state regulations info
Date: Wed, 07/26/2006 - 11:40
I have a tiny question. Does anyone know where I can find the Georgia State regulations on payday loan soliciations? We keep getting all kinds of these stupid solicitation e-mails and phone calls. It is driving me insane.
I usually delete them or tell them off. Now I am wondering what I can do about them. Some of these companies don't take "Leave me the h*** alone" seriously.
I know Georgia has strict rules, but I can't find them anywhere. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the links. they are the typical "You are approved for 1,500 right now. Fill out this short 2 minute application" We even got a phone call from one company fishing for bank account information. Which we did not give. That was reported to the FTC.
Thanks again for your help.

I suggest, mark such mails as 'spam' in your mailbox. There are many online companies phishing for personal information. Don't fall into their catch. There are many online companies in the internet that are still unrecognized in the state. You never know when they will pop up and try to get your personal things. For this reason, I always monitor my bank statement thoroughly and keep an eye on the credit report.
Read this, you can relate the situation.
