does anyone know or have used bad credit loan companies. by this i mean you pay a small fee and they say they can get anyone financed despite their credit rating and so forth. has anyone had success with this before. is it possible to get a loan with a low credit score, high debt to income ratio, slow pays, delinquencies etc. please let me know. i have paid for this service then found out i have to solicit for my own loan. i just want to pay off these payday loans with one montly payment i can afford.

thanks,
karen

Karen - this is also known as an "advance fee loan" - and is a scam of the largest sort. So many people have fallen for this - and the only thing it does is take money out of your wallet without putting any back in.

Do not fall for this - any company requiring you to put money "down" for "research" or to "find you a lender", or as "security" for the loan is a scam.

They seem to specialize in re finance and home loans. Be very carefull with any company you are going with, if you do not know them.

Check them out with the BBB, and others who have used them through completetion.

Are you thinking of re-financing your mortgage?

You may want to consider other options, such as debt consolidation, or debt settlement.
Let us know if we can help answer any questions...Karen :D

they also do personal loans, and they supposedly have me approved but want 4 months payment upfront and I am a little leery of that because I am not making ends meet as it is. I looked on the BBB site and they didnt have anything on them.

blueangel - I have posted this before; give it a read:

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/tmarkg/loans.shtm

Be VERY careful with any company that promised a loan but expects you to pay up front. 4 months.... that raises a red flag with me.

Looking at that website....it "looks" nice, but I have a few concerns about how legit they are. Their loan application page is a nothing, unsecured page. You would think at lease they would use some encryption (though, they don't ask for anything too personal like social security number). If you run a WHOIS on the domain, it was registered by "Domains by Proxy" - I tend to find a TON of PDL companies that are registered in the same aspect. To me, any decent loan company would not hide behind a 3rd party to hide their information. In fact - THEIR ADDRESS IS A TYPO!!! I thought I didn't recognize the city. It's wrong! The correct city is "Cape Girardeau, MO". In fact, the street is incorrect as well. It should be Kings Highway

My red flag is flying higher.

Let's see - their contact email is a free Google mail address. Their testimonials page has a different company name all over it. In fact - their web design is a free version "they" downloaded and edited.

Blue - I would REALLY find another option. I would put no trust into this company.

I had already made the decision to not go with it, I just enrolled in a debt management program to take care of some old debt on my credit report, now i just have to figure out how to get the 3 payday loans i have out paid off, my rent paid that is late and bring my bank account to the positive. Thank you for all the advice. :)

I've come across some loan comapanies ( don't remember the names, sorry) that promise to get you " credit or a loan for people with bad credit". However..........if you read the 'fine print', you will see you will be paying them, JUST for the company to send you out a list of OTHER companies, who MAY give you a loan. I've spotted several on the Web. I think what these certain companies do is horrible!!

When I was doing some searching on the internet I noticed quite a few of those as well. And made the decision to steer clear of those. Thanks again for the advice :)

I am shocked at how many of these companies there are, we were looking on line for a loan and guess what I was approved for $60,000, no credit check, no sin number nothing, except I have to send them 6250.00 to get the loan, yeah right, I wasn't born yesterday, another one for $25,000.00 just send them 1250.00 and lastly one for 50,000.00 I only needed to send them $500.00. The loans were cheap too, amazing I say, only 200-300 per month pay back for 10 years. I did check out one of the loan appications address in Toronto, no such address, doesn't exist, actually google earth took me to the middle of the street. If it's too good to be true it probably is!!!!!!!! I didn't fall for any of them, but just wanted to let you all know they are out there by the hundreds. People taking advantage of people in need. Sad but true. Good Luck everyone. I hope you come across some legitimate lenders. I haven't so far and I've been looking for weeks.

I had actually received a check in the mail....it had a 'legit' looking bank address, company, etc., on it. I called the phone number on the top of the check. THESE people said it was "free grant money I had won". THEN I looked up the bank information and called the bank. The manager, of the bank, told me "this was a scam and they had checks like these coming in left and right." WOW! I nevr cashed the check. However.....the SAME 'company' had called me, a few days later, and asked when I was going to cash it. I told them I found out they were a fraud!! The guy hung up on me. BOY!! How can people do this to other people..and STILL have a conscience?
