These people are rediculous. They are pretending to be police from the federal side of things and threatening me with arrest warrants for federal fraud and it gets worse. I want to know what kind of leagal recourse i have on these guys. Thanks.

They a currently under suspension until Sept. 1, 2005. They can't collect any money from you, so don't send them anything. Most wire companies won't even allow you to send them a dime. Next time they call, tell them you know who they are and they are under suspension, Tell them to stop calling and report that yu are reporting them to the FLorida Atty Generals office. I did and they never called me back!

Hi shauna,

According to fdcpa, collection agencies cannot harass any person or use any unfair means to collect debts. There is a clear guideline for collection agencies, stating the right way of approaching people. If they violate these rules, they become prone to be punished.

Everybody is aware about the unfair activities of Ellis Crosby and Associates nowadays. They are suspended from collection activities at present. If you go through this forum, you can find lots of related topics, which can help you to handle such collection calls.

If you want to know more about your legal rights, you can check the following link ???

Hope you find it useful.
