Ameriloan/Pinion Management

I've been reading about some types of issues people have had with ameriloan and Pinion Management... I wish I knew all of this stuff before I got the loan! I got a loan from Ameriloan this past summer. I had some bank account issues and it caused one of my payments to Ameriloan to bounce. Several days later, I called them to ask for their Western Union information (I closed my bank account completely after the issues I had)and asked for my balance. I paid the balance ($195) that day through Western Union. Once it was paid I called them and emailed them as well with the amount paid and the western union confirmation number. That was in early August.... Everything was going just dandy when I get a phone call from Pinion Management in November saying that I still owe money. I told the fellow that it was paid and he said he'd look into it. I don't hear anything again for a month and get another phone call saying it needed to be paid. I faxed him the information I had including the western union receipt. They call me again a couple of weeks after that and say I still owe it - frustrated I send the fax again and call the guy again to verify he received it. He did and said it was being researched through a different department. I just received another call today and the girl said that I still owe money. I told her everything I had done to that point and she said that they received the Western Union Payment - but that was for the bounced check fees. First -it only bounced once. NO WAY any fees would be 195 worth. 2nd - I called before I made the payment to verify how much I owed. What they told me is what I paid. Anyway, after I told this girl that -the line went dead.
HOW do I get these people off of my back? After reading all of the horror stories about these people I'm so thankful that I closed the bank account I had when I got the loan. I'm sure they'd still be trying to withdrawal money after I paid them off.

You may want to File a complaint with your Attorney General and find out if they are even licensed to do business in your state, chances are they are not.
Did you try to contact ameriloan to see what they had to say about it?
