If you need to know if anything is a scam, it's very simple. Ask yourself: is this too good to be true? If you respond "yes", then you should question it and spend time researching.

More than likely, anything that is too good to be true is just that - too good.

Scammers are also very talented these days. They can read a common man's mind very well. Otherwise, how are these scams carrying on? Those who are intelligent enough escape, otherwise the majority ends in trap.

Like Jedijeff said, do your share of research thoroughly.

I think scammers prey on the one thing we all want - easy. We want everything so simple with little effort, and that's where they try and hit us.

People drop their guard for a second and they have you. It's tough, but we have to remain diligent and be aware of what is going on around us.
