i never knowingly signed for this everprivate card, and now they are trying to deduct my money, which i don't have, i tried for a loan and they got my checking account info. now i am facing overdraft charges, what can i do?

You can also try going to everprivatecardservice.com and there is a form to fill out to request a refund. From what I heard the phone number posted is disconnected.

You should also dispute the charges with your bank. They should credit to OD fees once they hear that the charge that started it all was fraudulant.

This ia a common thing that happens now when people apply for payday loans. There is a box that comes up and it looks like it's part of the application process for the loan. But it's really authorization for this company to debit the money. The pdl then transmits the bank account info you've provided them to ever private card and bam! You are out $49.95.

It's such a sad scam. Obviously if you are applying for a pdl you don't have $49.95 to just waste! This company causes so many overdrafts it's not even funny . . . . .

File complaints with your state's attorney general, BBB, police, anyone you can find to listen to you!

I have been scammed by an e-mail that was sent to my regarding a pre-approved payday loan which I never was approved for instead I was charged a 49.95 fee by this company which I never heard of before. I requested a refund of the 49.95 which i never authorized them to take from my account the mistake I made was to give them my bank information thinking I would be giving them the information needed to pay back the supposed loand which i wads never approved for. This is a real scam they have it set up so you think they are going to give you a loan but that is never their intention. Their sole purpose is to take people in need for what they hope to have they tried to take money from my account and It caused me an overdraft fee 0f $35.. after I went on line to their socall customer service site to aske for a refund. They tried to convince me that I gave them authorization to take my money. I know that the site which the Email took me to never mentioned taking a fee for their services.

I was applying for a payday loan on line, they said some one would contact me. they did from this number 484-784-4346 and when the man explained to me that they wanted to take a fee out of my checking account, I declined the services. I look at my account on line this morning and my account is overdrawn due to Ever private card deducting 54.95 out of my checking account. I called my bank and they said that there is nothing they can do because I gave my info via the internet. But like I told the man at the bank, I did not authorize for them to take this money out of my account. So he told me I would have to close my account. What else can I do? And they did not deposit any money into my checking acct.

Ever private card doesn't lend money, so when you said that you didn't want the loan, it wasn't ever private card that you were talking to. They don't call and warn you, beleive me!

Dispute the charge anyways at the bank!

Also, you can go to everprivatecardservice.com and fill out a form to request a refund.

i believed i was scammed from this company in a different new way. I apply for a payday loan but my checking acct number doesnt go through and then it has an option for get a free debit card/account number so the money can post to that account and once you fill out the application for the card, you don't see anything else regarding either of the sites. I am disputing this with my bank.

I wouldn't think they'd really lend money to an account that was just set up like that. How do they know you will put money in to pay them back? They wouldn't lend in such a risky way . . . . I think there might be a misunderstanding or else this company is really going out and breaking the laws to get their $49.95!

I faced the same problem just today. My bank reversed the charges. Your bank is suppose to allow you to dispute any unauthorized withdrawal from your account...My suggestion would be to tell the bank that you did NOT authorize this and you want to dispute it and then open a new account.

Well, you are demanding at the wrong place!!

How would you think that an annonymous post on a public board will get you your money back! Where is the logic in that? Even if this was the site that took your money, how the hell would they know who you are!! Not that you should post personal info, but really! How can posting that solve your problem!!??!?!

I am now also facing the samr problem with this company.. I went online to apply for a pdl and the next thing I know, I have 49.95 taken out of my acct plus an overdraft fee. When I contacted them on their website, they said I legally authorized them to take the money. Come on now folks, if I was applying for a pdl then why would I give them the ok to debit money that I dont have. Pre-paid debit card doesnt make sense either, I have a bank account so obviousley I should have a debit card..Now I have to go and get a complete new bank acct and there is a freeze on all my acct actvitity.. I have learned my lesson, dont apply for pdl on line, you are taking a really huge risk.

 hey, i got my refund, my bank told me that in order for them usbank to return my $271.00 worth the over draft fees, i have to have everprivatecard write an email saying that it was not my fault that i did not order this card and then try to cancel it. Like i am gonna get them to say they unlawfully took money from my account.   now i am disputing my bank for my money. Also i have a direct deposit coming in, and they wont let me get my money before all the overdraft fees are paid.

Good news, I got my account closed and the bank refunded the 49.95 plus the two overdraft fees.. They were very well of who everprivate is and are trying to take the company.. Apparently four different banks are preparing to take to take the company to court.. Hopefully they close the company get closed down and stop taking our money.

I have also applied for a loan, and was taking on by this company. I have used the e-mail address and requested for a refund; I was told I should have my refund 10 to 14 days from August the 10th and it's September. I have sent several e-mail since then and recieve no response. Therefore, I have place them on Channel 7 on your side. It is our local news station, hopefully they will air it on television soon to make people aware of this.
