FIA DOSN'T EXSIST

i have recently become unemployed. i have defaulted on a $500 BOA credit card. I have received 117 calls from the rudest people at a company called FIA. A friend said to send them a letter stating they are not permitted to contact me by telephone. two weeks after the letter was sent the calls continued to come in. 17 in one day. i contacted the federal trade commission who confirmed that a written cease and decease demand must be honored on the day they receive it. this did not seem to impress any of the agents of FIA. there response is to hang up on you and to continue to call. i called a 'customer service' number whose surly woman stated it would take 60 days to process the request. when i asked what FIA stands for she stated and i quote "nothing". when i asked for a street address she replied " we do not have an address" and once again hung up on me. nice to see they are consistent. someone needs to sue these people for violating EVERY law in the Fair Debt Collection Act.
