Frederica: File a dispute with your bank, then file
online complaints to your state's Attorney General's Office, and the
Federal Trade Commission. You can do it all online. Sorry for your money
loss.
Yeha,
ever private card, or secret cash card, are like a loadable debit card.
It's "annonymous" so you can use it to purchase things online without it
being traced back to you. At least that is the premise behind the card.
What happens is when someone applies for a payday loan, a pop up box
will come up asking the person if they want to get this card. Most
people will just close the pop up. Well, they take that as a yes. You
have to check the no box and hit the submit button to not get charged.
Most people don't even read the pop up, and have no idea who or what the
charge is for.
You can go to everprivatecardservice.com and there is a form to fill out
to request a refund.
