About a week ago I applied for a payday loan with advance america payday loan and i was told since it was a unsecured loan i would have to send them 150 plus another 120 to pay half of taxes. After i sent the 270 they told me i would need to send another 120. I declined and asked for my 270 back and i have yet to receive it. Can someone please help me?

Sorry, but you have been scammed....no payday loan that I have ever heard of asks for money up front. And there are NO taxes to be paid on a loan. How did you pay them??? What website did you go thru???

File a report with your local police department....and quite frankly do not expect to see the money back.

Yes, I completely agree to SoapLady's reply. It's a definite scam because a payday lender will never charge for tax and demand for upfront fee. Once you take out a loan, you need to pay back the amount till the next payday. You can lodge complaint if you’ve a written evidence that you made the payment to the fraud company but your chances are low that you can manage to retrieve your money.
