scammers know my DOB and full name

Hello,

I have got into a big trouble recently. It happened so that I gave out my date of birth, full name and address to scammers in the internet.

So, now they know my date of birth, full name, address and obviously phone number. How serious can it be? How can they really use it? My husband says that as long as I haven't disclosed my SSN I should be fine. But I'm really scared.


Really it is no big deal. Anyone can get that information pretty easy if they want it on the internet. If it makes you feel comfortable, put a fraud alert on your credit report.

I know that SSN is very important. But what about DOB + full name and address. How can they use this information?

Thank god you've not revealed your SSN to the scammers. You can never trust scammers. They can try to use this information to open a fake credit card account.
