Victim of Identity Theft

I am a detective from Henderson P.D., in Henderson, NV, and I am currently working a case reference Identity theft. My victim has two accounts on her credit report from your company and she is claiming they were opened fraudulently. Could you please provide me with a contact number for your legal department so I can investigate this matter further. Thanks for your time and I wait to hear from you at your earliest convenience.

Personally I think it is spam....no detective is stupid enough to email a message forum in this manner...not to mention the fact that he is using a Vegas phone number and not a Henderson one....he would be using an official work phone, not his cell phone.

I had also guessed the same thing initially! Someone may have tried to share his/her own experience in this manner. The OP probably needs to see a lawfirm, but instead seems interested to get his message across private forums (like this one).
