Budgeting 50-20-30 rule - I have heard about it. My question is - can I alter this ratio, if required, in any month?

It is better to follow it every month as it'll help you save a decent amount every month. However, if it's required, you can follow another budgeting strategy for a couple of months. But, try to get back as fast as you can.

What is the ratio you want to follow? Is there any financial goal that you want to achieve?

Please mention that I can guide you properly.

How do you want to alter the ratio? Why do you want the ratio? I would ask you to not change the ratio. If you really want to change the ratio, then try to dedicate 30% of your income toward savings.
