Don't buy anything and everything that are on sale. Research and find out if there is a better product in the store at a competitive price. Also, think if you really need something. If you already have a nice toaster at your home, then buying another toaster at $40 is not a good deal at all. You're actually wasting money.

have a quick view on your kitchen, wardrobe, closet, or home before going to buy grocery, clothes, shoe, or household things. You should also carry a list while shopping.

List everything you wanted to buy, then mark "priority one" on your essential things like - groceries, medicines, electricity, credit card bills, etc.
Do not buy all the things at a time. Try to buy online, you may have good discounts.
Look for secondhand things like books, clothes and many more.
