Brandon Jacobson is the admin of the Money for Military blog. Over here, the blog name itself depicts that it’s completely dedicated to the military members. It talks about personal finance, investing, taxes etc.

Please tell our readers something about yourself?
- I've been in the military for eight years and have been investing and studying finances for seven years.

Do you have any email id on which our readers can reach you?
- bjone6[at]gmail[dot]com

Since when are you Blogging?
- I started blogging in August of 2006 after I read about how much money people make from blogging...I haven't really made a lot yet though.

What is your motivation behind this blog?
- I noticed that military members don't make a lot of money compared to their civilian counterparts. Certain aspects of the military lifestyle makes people careless with their money. I try to educate as many people as I can about everything finances; escpecially when it comes to military finances.

What topics do you explore in this blog?
- I talk mostly about military finances. My most popular topics are USAA mutual funds because there is not a lot of discussion on the internet about them. Also, I have a lot of information unique to the military that drives a lot of traffic to my blog.

What are your future-plans with this blog?
- Not like anyone cares, but I would like to move my old html template to a CSS styled so I can take advantage of some of the new blogger features. I need to try and get more regular readers that partcipate regularly. Most of readers are from search engines.

What are the sites and blogs you browse often?
- I usually spend most of my time and economic, political, and finance sites. I try to visit my blogroll blogs regularly. There is a lot of information on the blogs. Finance is like learning a new language and you constantly have to learn and practice it.

Would you please share something for people who are in debt?
- If you are currently in debt, you need to get out of it. If you are waiting for the government to bail you out, then you're plans are misguided. Debt eates away at your life and your savings. If you are in debt and can not see a way out, get help. Debt is working against you all the time and you have to make your money work for you and not for other people.

Would you like to say something to our community members?
- I hope the community members are offering good advice. I hope the members are caring about the people reading what they write. I dont' have any official statistics, but I would say 90% of everything on the internet is an advertisement for something. For the community members that are getting out of debt...keep trying. You working to get out of debt is helping the American economy and the rest of the world. Every person helps!
