I am a 40 year old blogger from India having over 17 years of work experience in Insurance, Housing Finance & Investment industry. I like calling myself an infopreneur, though. I have built a website on personal finance too.
Do you have any email id on which our readers can reach you?
Yes, I can be reached at ranjanvarma(at)gmail(dot)com
Since when are you Blogging?
I am a recent blogger and started out just over an year back.
What is your motivation behind this blog?
Initially it was to fine tune my own personal finance. As it grew, there were many things that I learnt and wanted to share.
What topics do you explore in this blog?
Basically personal finance. Something about infopreneurism too.
What are your future-plans with this blog?
I have already taken the blog to a website level by building India's first online weekly on personal finance. I want to build an application where readers can compare financial products in India.
What are the sites and blogs you browse often?
I visit IwillTeachYouTobe Rich, GetRichSlowly, The Simple Dollar regularly
Would you please share something for people who are in debt?
It's natural to avoid looking at your debts situation. The key is to face it squarely and get started to do something about it. Where there's a will, there's a way.
Would you like to say something to our community members?
I have learnt much from forums and communities and I've seen people eager to help out. It's important to be able to ask the right questions and there will be help forthcoming for sure.
