I need anyone to talk to me about United Cash Loans. I got a call from a woman by the name of Kathryn who said I have until 12:00noon Feb. 27th to contact her and make arrangements or her client will proceed with involuntary action against me. She didn't say who she was with, but when I called back the number it's United Cash Loans. Anyone had calls from these folks? Also, I need an address to send an validation letter as I am not just going to take someone's word on what I owe.

I am also having problems with them. Read the other posting on this site and you will find information on how to deal with them and others.

I can tell you anything you want to know about United Cash Loans.

1. They are not licensed to lend money according to the Nevada Financial Institution.
2. Consumer Affairs is in the process of conducting an investigation against them. The more complaints they receive, the better understanding they have about UCL.
3. They are violating and threatening people with arrest for check fraud.
4. They give bogus addresses for payments and that came straight from the mouth of Mike Tank who works for UCL.
The list goes on. I also forgot to mention that the Carson City address is a forwarding address. According to David at the Consumer Affairs office stated that they are not in Nevada and they have received answers to complaints from UCL from California and Kansas City Kansas.

Their address is
United Cash Loans
2533 N. Carson Street Ste.50
Carson City, NV 89706
Fax number is 800-230-9480

You need to file a complaint against them with the Nevada Consumer Affairs, Nevada Attorney General Office and in your state also for the threat you received.

SHBear, when you are struck with companies not accepting your arrangements, I will advise you not to give up. Write them letters and explain the problems. Offer them an amount that you can pay in real. Add a point that once your financial problems improve, you will send increase the payments. Basically, your letter should bring out the facts that you take the responsibility of paying your debts. If any action is supposed to be taken against you, the court will understand your concern first before taking any decision. In this way, the decisions might go in your favor.

When they called my home the number was 816-682-8605 and the name was Ivy Poole which came up on my caller ID and and someone female left the message that I had until tomorrow , etc and left the 800 number to call back on. 816 area code is for Missouri. When I explained that I wanted debt validation provided to me under the fdcpa they had no clue what I was talking about, they also told me they were a payment processing office not a third party collection agency. I did send them a debt validation letter Certified Mail so they have to sign for it to the NM address which is Pinion North Collection Dept. In the letter I asked for a copy of thier license and agent number just to see if they are legal to collect in my state NJ. Should be interesting!
