Thank you Roxette. I am getting close to have all those stupid payday loans that Ellis Crosby had paid off, but didn't have the contact information on either of these. The ML Inc. one doesn't look like it would be for a payday loan company.

Hope you can help. I had a very terrifying experience with Ellis Crosby and ended up sending them $695 for a payday loan from J D Marketing. I thought this was paid off and now to find out I just sent 1st Credit Services another $175.50 for J D Marketing they said has not been paid. Do you think I should be refunded that money since I have all my Western Union receipts from Ellis showing I paid them. Please advise.

Hi Bonnie

Welcome to the forums. 1st Credit Services contacted you because your account was not shown as paid in the credit report by the three bureaus. It is the actual responsibility to Ellis Crosby to update your account with the bureaus once they have received payment from you.

Since the update in your credit report was not done, 1st Credit Services asked for a payment and you have done it without any valid information about your account.

Now, once you have realized that you have over paid your account, you have to deal with Ellis Crosby. Since they have been in regular violation of the federal and the state laws, I think that you should complaint against them to the state attorney general office, FTC and the BBB on charges of not paying your money towards your debt account. Did they give you any receipt of your payment made?

Have you taken the receipt from 1st Credit Services of your payment made? The ultimate result of this account is that it should be updated as "paid" in your credit report. You have to deal with the agency in that way.

Regards
Roxette

These two companies have been contining to automatically with draw $90, $90 and $120 from my checking account but no longer provide me with any information with which to contact them and (1) either get the loan paid off in one lump payment ($260 I believe) and/or find out the status of anything. They are creating bounced checks with their continued automatic withdrawals. I no longer have any phone numbers for them as they do not appear to be the same "companies" from which I made the quick payday loans with. Can you help.

Thank you.

Thanks Roxette for the information. I just wish I would have known about this site and all the dealings that Ellis have been going through. I did contact the Florida Attorney General's Office and am hoping I can file a complaint.

It makes me sick to find out I did not have to send them all that money. I sent $1120 becasue of all their threats and they even called my supervisor but I talked to her and asked her not to call them back because I was taking care of it. I sure took care of it; I sent them the money; that I had to take from my grandson's savings in order for them to quit harassing me. Do you think I will be able to get the overpayment amount back from them? My original loans were for a total of $560.

Thanks for your support.

Bonnie,

I wish the attorney general can help in refunding the money of so many people like you.

Have you kept the receipts of your money sent to Ellis in safe place? This is a very important proof of your payment made. If any other agency tries to recover the same debt from you, you will be able to produce a copy of these receipts and perhaps, a nice company will update your accounts 'as paid' with the credit bureaus.

Hope you feel better now. :)

Roxette

This is one of those loan companies that will just continue to debit the fee unless you contact them or block the debit, or close your account. This is how they make their money, so they will never send out reminder emails. Some people on this site have been paying them for close to two years.

You just need to prepare a letter stating that you revoke authorization to make any further debits from your account (include your # number or state ending in XXXX. Make sure it mentions revoking it from any of there affiliates or DBA's. You can fax and send it in the mail certified. Make sure you show a copy to your bank.

What kind of company is JD Marketing? They keep taking money out my account, they took $600 out of my account and put it in a negative and is still taking money out of my account over drafting it. I did apply for a cash loan with this company called Magnum loans and i hope they have nothing to do with it because i paid them all of their money back. Can anybody help? I really need to know who they are.

Ok two years ago I got a call telling me that someone was coming to put me in jail if i didn't pay this loan -I thought I had already paid it but I didn't have proof and I was 8 months pregnant with emotions clouding my common sense so I paid them the money they were asking for. Today 2 yrs later someone calls me claiming to be a police officer with a lawsuit wanted to give me the chance to pay it before the case comes to my county. I have already paid this once... I can't find my western union payment slip that I paid 2 yrs earlier at the moment to prove that I paid it but I remembered because it scarred me so much when they called threatening to arrest me when I was pregnant. what can I do? I don't want them calling me anymore. I already paid.
