I know, I am an animal lover to the max..and your right, it is hard to lose a loved one. There is a section out at the cemetary for pets, but i just can't afford what will most likely be a high price to bury him there. The vet asked me if i wanted the ashes back and i said no. (extra $35.00). Not to mention how would i know that the ashes i got back were my dog's ashes? Can't trust anyone anymore.

I am so sorry about the loss of your dog whiterock, i know the feeling of loosing a doggy i had a golden retriever and he was running so fast on the yard the he hit against the shed and snapped his neck and died. The most painful part was that it happened in front of my kids. Now I have four dogs, 2 chihuahuas, a golden retriever, and an american bulldog. I treat them and love them just like my kids. I have my hands full!!

Oh, kate! How horrible. My heart, my heart. It just pains me. I can't stand to even watch the TV commercials regarding poor animals in shelters looking out so sad and lonely. I cry every single time. If I had a HUGE yard, I swear, I would probably have 100 animals. I'd take every single one I could.

I recently visited a shelter n I saw a 10 year old chweeeeet spitz who was left there by some IRRESPONSIBLE JERK. I dunno how can a person be so so so so n SO hard hearted. He or she kept the dog for 10 long years and one day simply left him bcoz the the dog grew old!!!!!! But the sad part of the whole thing is the dog dint forget anything he still believes that they will come and take him back .

Last night I was watching Animal Cops and boy did I cry. The episodes last night where cruel, I don't know how people can do so much harm to animals. Animals depend on us for everything and they are such great part of the family. My two chihuahuas even sleep in our bed, they are so cuddly one weighs 3 pounds and the other one 4 pounds.

I can't watch Animal Cops. I have nightmares. This kind of thing sticks with me forever. I find it horrifying and it tears me apart. A friend of mine found a little black poodle Friday morning in the dark pouring down rain walking in the middle of the road. Soaking wet, scared to death. She took him in and he is living with her now. The dog is soooo sweet, but I can tell he's "older". My thought it that some jerk dropped that poor baby off because they didn't want to be "bothered" any longer. His teeth are bad and his eyes are bad. He is the sweetest little dog. No signs up for a missing dog. If someone dropped that baby off in the cold dark rain, I would like to hunt them down myself.

Lord, one would think I was being tortured! I will cry for HOURS regarding anything animal related! Can't watch the commercials, can't watch the animal cop shows, can't watch any of it. It KILLS me. I swear, I have nightmares if I do watch it. And people at work try to not tell me horrible things they know have happened regarding animals because I'll cry and have a damn breakdown!

PUDDLE! OMG! I saw that commercial one time and bawled for HOURS and HOURS all by myself. Honestly. Now every time it comes on, I switch the channel. If I'm even in the other room, I RUN and change the channel. I can't watch it. That song, those eyes, it rips my heart out. I give what I can when I can to the rescue groups. I wish to God I was a millionaire. I would probably spend every penny I had on saving those poor little innocent animals.

Cannr, I think the same way you do, I wish i had lots of money that way I can help those poor animals. On my way to work this morning there was a dog just laying on the sidewalk and I kept looking back and he was just laying there, I felt so so bad. But can you imagine if i was to pick up every animal from the street. It really hurts me so so much. The other day there was a beagle in my front yard and i grabbed him and thank god he had a collar and tag with phone numbers and i was able to contact the owners. I was praying so hard to find his owners, cause i would have kept him otherwise, and I can't afford anymore animals. Besides in my county I am only allowed to have 3 and I have 4.
