I was working in sales and collection department of cash2day and now i work in another company. i reason for this message is to let know people that how this company works. this is one of the expensive pay day loan company. i suggest you that better to take loans from other companies like "[prmotional urls not allowed - plz co-operate]" and there are so many which have less than $30 processing fee. cash2day charges $79 dollars from every customers.

when i was working in collection the manager Darren ( **[no foul language plz, read tos] )
told all the collection agents that you should all call their(customers) employers and make atleast 30 calls a day at their work place to harras them. Darren tells people to call in hospital lines and block the numbers so the customers will have pressure so they can pay the money. this is company policy that no one should tell the customers about the amount what they have paid so the company can get more money.

So many people in the hospitals told me that please dont call here as this is emergency line but Darren never agreed, he wanted us to call in the hospitals every after 10 seconds so the customer will be harrased and there is more likely that people will pay the money.

I left this company because of inhuman attitude of Darren, he is ***** [no foul language plz, read tos] . He is very much against of american people and calls their names.

Well i do say that i am very ugly man who wears glasses and i do put *** up all the time. and i do have a ****[no foul language plz, read tos] . but icant do that. and i do say people to block hospital lines to harras them and i also say people to call at their work so they will be fired. i do that as u know everyone has his own goals. my goal is to make more money so once people are harrased so they can pay more money, so i get more commission so this is my job.

anyways c out site. "[prmotional urls not allowed - plz co-operate]"

Darren

Do you realize you're putting yourself and your company at risk when you violiate the credit laws? When asked to cease and desist contact at an employers work, while you insistantly contact them over and over is considered harassment. I would be careful in your debt retreival tacticts.

Mike

Someone from Cash Today posted his comments on the company at this thread also.

http://forums.debtcc.com/forums/cashtoday-collections.html

Now, a thought just came up in my mind. We all know that ICS is operating from UK and perhaps, has a call centre in Reno, Nevada. The company has been regularly making unauthorized debits in the consumers’ accounts. It is very well understood that these debits were made from UK. So, there should be a way to dispute on them. The bank has not been of much help on this matter. The company says that they don't provide any papers to the consumers. So, how to actually stop it? None of us from their company has shed light on this matter. Your suggestions on this fact will be appreciated by the community and will be a real help.

I have to disagree with the bad stuff. I took out a loan and Cash2day was very good to us. We had the loan for sometime and yes, they did charge a fee, but once it was paid off, they called once to see if I wanted a new loan and I said not at this time and they have not called me since. i am thinking of maybe getting another loan soon from them. I have had a pretty good experience overall.. They are upfront about the fees for have the loan. Read and understand before you agree to accept money from them..thats my advise..thanks

....let me put some light on this topic

Cash2day or any other company linked to it is a payday loan company and all the sales made are over the phone. So there is nothing in writing. Everything is verbally recorded. Basically its a verbal agreement which you make with the company. If you need a copy of the agreement you can always call em up and ask it to be played to you and you can record it.

Now the calls can be stopped at your work place provided you call up the company and make some sort of arrangement.

The processing fee is different for every plan you sigh yourself to. If you have sight yourself on the new plans the fee will reduce by $5 every payday and there is a threshold which is $40. If you miss a payment its can be or has to be paid at a later date.

The company works from UK and everything is as per UK jurisdiction. The company can really sign customers for wage garnishment but the cost involved is tremendous as they would have to actually send a lawyer from UK to US to file a suit. If you have defaulted a lot they can give you discounts and offer to bring down the balance. I would say if you dont default in the first place they wont have to ever call you and all calls will be from customers end.

The company is always ready to work things out with customers provided they call them and open their heart out.

See there all people who know about payday loans and just want to take loans and run away with the money so company cant really trust anyone. They mean business. It gives people who need money but also wants it back as its not a charity.

Its not about money its about principles...if you take money from someone so eventually have to pay it back to them.

First of all its gives loan to people who have a bad credit rating so the fact should be appreciated and customers should be paying it back.

I'm saying all this because I work there. Now that doesnt mean I'm on company's side. I do feel bad about customers who are harassed and its wrong. I personally will never do that. If cust has to pay he/she will pay no matter what.

I hope this information helps.

just to let you know, even if they are run out of the UK they do have to be licensed somewhere in the US to lend here. Your license has expired and the state you were working out of (probably a drop box) stated in court that all loans made at that time were null and void. Is that why the company has been fighting and finally showed up in court to reverse this decision? If you would like a copy of that court document I would be more than happy to provide you with a copy. Until then you can stop defending the company. Could that be why the calls have stopped because I brought that up in the last conversation? As soon as they can provide that they had a valid license when they loaned me the money I will only pay what they borrowed me and I am almost already there. Plus they were not even licensed in the state I live in and that is a law here.
