I split up with my ex before my child was even born, they finally found him to serve Child support on him 2yrs ago and was ordered to pay. Anyway my daughter is now 4 and he has never paid her any support or even seen her but for the past 3yrs when I tried to file my taxes he has already claimed her. I have already sent all the paperwork proving she lives with me and that a I support her but he somehow did it again last year and I'm scared he will do it again this year. HOW CAN I PUT A STOP TO THIS? He already doesn't pay her any support and. Now he is taking money that is owed to her. PIG!!!

I contacted the IRS three years in a row and this is what they said..
"unfortunatley whoever claims her first will be the one who will have no problems receiving their tax refund." Pardon my french but no shit. They also told me that since I had tried to e-file and it was rejected because he had already claimed her, that I could paper file and mail my return in and still get my refund but eventually they would ask me to mail in proof that she lives with me, that I solely support her and that no one else has the right to claim her. Well after two years of having to paper file the IRS still hadn't asked me to do that so I just mailed that info in with my taxes thinking this would resolve the matter and keep him from doing it again but low and behold I went to H&R Block to do Rapid Refund the next year and he had claimed her again. As far as child support goes I filed for it in NC where we both lived at the time,he got served and appeared in court, signed the paper saying he would pay and then hightailed it to Florida and now he has to be served by Florida, its pretty much like starting the procedure all over again. I just found out that he is in jail there and informed my caseworker thinking they could serve him while he,s in jail but she said they couldn't. Can someone help me on either perdicament pleeeeeeeeez!!!!!!!
